This had to be one of the most beautiful weddings I've ever photographed, or been to. There is something to be said for a couple that would rather a small backyard wedding, especially one with this much taste, a wedding planner couldn't have done a better job! Congratulations Steve and Christine!

Autumn and Benny Engagement Shoot

I had a great time walking around New Orleans with Autumn and Benny this weekend. We started off walking through a sea of Saints and Giants fans that were tailgating this past Sunday and then onto the Riverfront where they posed for pictures.

RIP Robert Hebert

I recieved an e-mail from a future bride (Candice) today that her fiance passed away on August 9, 2009. His name is Robert Hebert and he was in remission for Cancer. He was 26, a native of New Orleans, and a US Navy Veteran.

When I met Robert and Candice in November of 2008 Robert had just started going back to work at GE installing Wind Turbines after his cancer treatment. I remember being swept up in the story of the fight against cancer and how they were not going to let that get in the way of thier plans.

During our converstations I found out that Robert went to Higgins High School (a Rival of John Ehret High School ... My alumni), we graduated the same year and grew up just a short distance from each other. Candice and Robert decided to take thier Engagment Pictures in New Orleans, the city he grew up in and grew to love.... here are a few photos.

My thoughts and prayers are with Candice and Robert's Families. RIP Robert Hebert.

Fun at Jambalya Park!

I havn't posted many pictures of my son recently so here is my opportunity to show off how cute he is. :) While on vacation we went to Jambalya Park and he had a blast at the splash park!

I know I say it all the time but I truly love weddings and being a part of them. Justin and Nicole found me through the www and I am glad that they did. They are an adorable couple that I'm sure will share many happy years together. Here are a few from the wedding.

Congratulations Rhonda and Kirk!

I am so happy! Rhonda and Kirk are finally married! I know, you are asking Who is Rhonda and Kirk? Well, they are my godchild's parents and some of my best friends!

Rhonda and I have been friends since '96 when I moved into the house across the street from her. Rhonda and Kirk met after a Mardi Gras Parade in 1999 and on March 4th they started dating. Since 1999 they have had 3 kids together and they finally took the plunge on March 4th 2009! 10 years later!

We took a walk through Jackson Square and New Orleans and took a few shots (while being stopped by the Sulpher High school Photography Club, Tourists and just EVERYONE to take pictures of them! Here is one family that stopped us.
